The Comedy House DOES NOT HONOR counterfeit tickets from ticket scalpers. These scalpers typically run search engine ads to trick you into linking and buying from them. They use the same or similar graphics issued by the artist and charge outrageous ticketing fees while claiming to save you money. If you have been a victim of this method of fraud, please contact your bank card issuer for a chargeback, cancel your credit card and report the site to the SOUTH CAROLINA ATTORNEY GENERAL.

TYPE OF PAYMENTS ACCEPTED:
Cash, American Express, Master Card, Discover/JCB and Visa credit and debit cards are accepted. We do not accept checks or money orders. Some gift cards are not accepted by our banking network.
ALL SEATS ARE FIRST COME – FIRST SERVE AT THE TABLE:
When purchasing a ticket from the Comedy House you are not guaranteed a specific seat location at the table even if you pick the specific seat on the ticketing system. Seat numbers represent a count of seats at the table not a location at the table.
Please note that some seats in the showroom are bar stools while others are regular chair seating. Please indicate what type of seating you prefer when being assigned a table at the box office.
Holding seats for someone in your party is not allowed. If you wish to sit together please approach the box office together.
ALL TICKET SALES FINAL.
Your seat in the showroom is valuable. If it is empty; the entertainer, server and venue have lost money.
If you miss the show for ANY reason, you are not eligible for a refund! NO EXCEPTIONS.
Call us ahead of time and we will try to work with you – if the entertainer permits refunds or exchanges.
Special Engagement tickets can not be swapped for another show.
Individual who purchased tickets must be present with valid ID to enter the show. We do NOT accept ticket transfers of any kind.
HOW DO I GET MY WILL CALL TICKETS:
When you place your order by phone, stop by our TICKET OFFICE any time prior to the event to take delivery of your ticket. You will be required to show valid identification to pick up your tickets. I.E: SC approved picture ID and the credit card used to buy the ticket(s).
RESERVATIONS & LAUGH PASS:
Only full price ticket holders are guaranteed to see the show. Reservations and laugh passes ticket winners must claim their seating before the show begins.
Party Host (winners) must arrive before or with their guests. Guests will not be seated without their winner. Winners who wish to sit with their guests must go in together at the same time. We do expect winner to inform their guest(s) of Comedy House policies. There is a cash bar in the lobby while you wait!
FREE tickets may not be redeemed for SPECIAL ENGAGEMENTS or SPECIAL EVENTS. No exceptions. Passes have no cash value.
A free ticket is good for ONE admission. Your guest(s) will be charged admission. (Typically $1 or $5 depending on the event)
All comedians and performers are subject to change right up to showtime. It doesn’t happen often, but entertainers may cancel for a variety of reasons. Stay in touch with these type of changes by following us on Twitter and Facebook. Check your email the day of the show.
It is very important to give us a working email address and telephone number that we can reach you for notification of cancellations or changes in show time.
Should a *Special Engagement* performance be changed or canceled you will be contacted via the information given to us during the sale of the ticket.
All refunds will be provided as a credit to the same credit/debit card used when the ticket was purchased. Cash refunds will be available 48 hours after the cancellation at our TICKET OFFICE for 30 days.
The Comedy House extends hospitality to patrons 21 years and older for comedy shows and special events. State law requires Proof of Age to drink. No ID – No entry – No exceptions.
Our facility is 80% wheelchair accessible. Lo-rise ramps accommodate our stage and 1st Level seating areas. The only seating area not available is the 2nd level seating. We offer a large uni-sex handicap accessible restroom with grip bars and insulated pipes.
CONCEALED WEAPONS ARE NOT ALLOWED
Casual or dress attire. Underwear may not be visible. No backpacks or over sized purses allowed in the Showroom. We discourage high heels or platform shoes. The Comedy House is big. You will experience lots of walking on tile and carpeted floors as well as ramps and stairs.
HOW LONG ARE THE SHOWS:
Most of our shows last 90 – 120 minutes. On rare occasions a show may last 2.5 hours.
TWO ITEM MINIMUM PURCHASE REQUIRED:
In addition to purchasing a ticket or winning a free admission, there is a two (2) item minimum food and/or beverage purchase required per person at ANY show.
GRATUITY & TAXES ADDED:
15% Gratuity is added to all food and beverage purchases. NO refunds or exchanges on alcohol served to your table. Be sure you are ordering the alcoholic drink you want. Removal of gratuity is not an option on any check for any reason.
12% Hospitality Tax, Liquor Tax, and Sales Tax is added to all food and beverage purchases.
NO OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE:
Customers may not bring food or drink of any kind into the Comedy House.
HECKLING OR DISRUPTING THE SHOW:
Heckling a performer or disturbing customers is not tolerated. Loud conversations, cell phone calls, visiting other tables or wandering around the showroom during the show is not permitted. Please be considerate of other customers.
NO RECORDING or live streaming permitted in the showroom at ANY TIME under any circumstances! Any pictures, audio or video recording made in the showroom immediately becomes the property of the Comedy House and the performer. You do not have the rights to publish on any platform. We will enforce this rule to the fullest extent of the law.
Taking flash pictures or hidden video recording of any performance is NOT PERMITTED. If discovered you will be required to stop and erase the copyright infringement. Many artist and comedians meet with their fans after the show for autographs and pictures.
Flash pictures can cause a server to drop food and drink trays. You spill it, you pay for it. Flash pictures can confuse the Comedian into thinking his/her time is up and will end their show early.
CONTENT OF SHOWS:
Please understand that comedy is a celebrated and respected form of free speech. At the Comedy House, you might hear a topic or language that you are not accustomed to hearing. We are not an open forum for discussion. If you do not like what the comedian is saying, you are free to leave without refund.
The Comedy House does not endorse any of the views of, or statements made by, our performers. Most shows are R rated with topics like religion, sex, politics, etc…. We do offer G and PG rated shows for corporate events and private affairs. If you are concerned about what you might hear, just ask our Ticket Office staff. We will do our best to tell you what to expect.
WALK-OUT WITHOUT PAYING:
The Comedy House uses recorded surveillance cameras and any collected information from ticket purchases as well as host to prosecute customers who “dine and dash.” We report all walk-outs to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
